Where to find us: Thank You!We just want to say Thank You to all of our subscribers for your business and support. We have been very busy working on the new platform for our on-line store. This is the first edtion of our newsletter since our upgrade. See Updates to Our Website! below. Our Goal is Your Fun! We hope that our mini basketball hoops and accessories allow you to have fun with friends and family. It's always fun to hear stories that start out with "I remember having a hoop when I was a kid...". We believe there are many more memories to be made. If your kids like basketball, they will like our kids basketball hoops. JustinTymeSports second Goal is to Make a Difference...and encourage others to do the same. We know that many of our customers are young kids and they may not realize their potential to make a difference. We have a great story about a young boy named Austin that is sure to inspire. See Hoops Of Hope below. We always enjoy hearing from you. Please feel free to send us an e-mail with any fun stories, photos, or videos. We may even share some of those in future newsletters. Enjoy your summer, Hoops Of Hope
A few weeks ago, Justin came across a friends Facebook page that included a Hoops of Hope logo. Justin followed the links to an inspiring story of a young boy that is making a huge difference.
Austin Gutwein was just 9 years old when he decided to do something to help his pen pal in Africa. In corresponding with his friend around the world, Austin learned that more than 2000 kids are orphaned every school day due to their parents affliction with HIV/AIDS. He knew he could not cure the parents but he wanted to help the kids - so he shot 2057 free throws on World Aids Day in 2004 and raised $3000. In 2005, he raised more than $100,000...enough to build a school in Zambia and last year, Hoops of Hope helped to build a medical lab and counseling center in Sinazongwe, Zambia. JustinTymeSports is working with Hoops Of Hope to provide a way for anyone to get involved and make a difference. We hope to encourage you, our customers, to host a "mini-event" with your kids using your own mini basketball hoop. If we can encourage only 200 kids to each raise $25, together we can make a huge difference for these kids in Zambia. We will provide more information in future articles, but feel free to check out our fundraising page at http://www.firstgiving.com/justintymesportsllc. The information and the video on this page will provide you with a good introduction.
Updates to Our WebsiteHere are just a few of the changes:
Back to top New Spalding Mini Basketball
The official Mini size version of the NBA Game Ball. This 7" (Size 3) rubber Spalding Mini Basketball works great with our Mini-Xtreme basketball hoop. Big enough to dribble, but still small enough to use indoors. The ball has the look and feel of a full size basketball!.
